Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using Revva (the "Service" or "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Revva is a motorcycle tracking and social application that records GPS location, ride metrics, and sensor data. Users under 18 may use Revva with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on their behalf and accepts responsibility for their use of the Service.

Account Rules

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, including a valid email address.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • One Account Per Person: Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.
  • Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any harmful activity.

Service Description

Revva provides:

  • GPS Tracking: Continuous location monitoring during motorcycle rides, including background tracking
  • Ride Analytics: Distance, speed, elevation, lean angle, corner detection, and performance metrics
  • Sensor Data: Accelerometer and gyroscope data for lean angle and corner analysis
  • Data Storage: Secure cloud storage and local device storage for your ride data
  • Synchronization: Automatic data synchronization between your device and cloud servers
  • Social Features: Follow other riders, like and comment on rides, share your riding experiences
  • Communities: Create or join motorcycle clubs and communities, participate in discussions and polls
  • Photo Sharing: Upload photos to your profile, rides, and communities
  • Push Notifications: Receive alerts about followers, likes, comments, and community activity
  • Find Friends: Discover friends on Revva using your contacts (with your permission)

Usage Rules

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service while operating a vehicle in a manner that distracts from safe operation
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws, regulations, or traffic rules
  • Share, distribute, or misuse location data of other users without their consent
  • Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Post, share, or solicit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children
  • Upload images or content that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
  • Spam or send unsolicited messages to other users
  • Create communities or posts that promote illegal activities or hate speech
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its servers
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service

Location and Sensor Data

  • The Service collects GPS location data, accelerometer, and gyroscope sensor data during rides
  • Background location tracking is used to record rides even when the App is minimized
  • You consent to the collection and storage of this data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Location tracking consumes battery and data. You are responsible for any data charges
  • You can stop location tracking at any time by ending a ride or revoking location permissions

Camera and Photos

  • The Service allows you to take photos or select photos from your library
  • You are solely responsible for the content of photos you upload
  • By uploading photos, you grant us a license to store, display, and process these images for the purpose of providing the Service
  • Do not upload photos that contain illegal content, violate others' privacy, or infringe on intellectual property rights

Child Safety

Revva has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We maintain published Child Safety Standards that all users must comply with.

  • Prohibited Content: Any content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children is strictly prohibited
  • Immediate Action: Violations result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
  • Reporting: Users can report child safety concerns through the in-app reporting mechanism or by contacting contact@revva.app
  • Age Requirement: Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. The Service is not directed at children under 13
  • Legal Compliance: Revva complies with all applicable child safety laws and reports to regional and national authorities

Social Features and User Content

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create, including rides, photos, comments, and community posts
  • License to Use: By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service
  • Community Guidelines: You agree to treat other users with respect. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms
  • Reporting: You may report inappropriate content or behavior through the App

Ride Data Ownership

  • Your Data: You retain ownership of all ride data, location points, and metrics you create
  • License to Use: By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your ride data solely for the purpose of providing the Service
  • Data Deletion: You may delete your ride data at any time. We will delete your data upon account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements

Push Notifications

  • The Service may send push notifications about social interactions, ride updates, and community activity
  • You can disable notifications at any time through app settings or your device settings
  • We may send important service-related notifications that cannot be disabled

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

  • Authentication providers (Apple Sign In, email authentication)
  • Map services (Apple Maps, Google Maps, MapLibre)
  • Error tracking and analytics (Sentry)
  • Push notification delivery (Expo)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Service Availability

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
  • We are not liable for data loss, though we maintain backups and synchronization
  • Over-the-air updates may be delivered automatically to improve the Service

Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in the Service, including the App, logo, and content, are owned by Revva or its licensors
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission
  • Revva and related trademarks are the property of Revva

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REVVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

THE SERVICE IS NOT A SAFETY DEVICE. REVVA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF RIDE DATA, LOCATION TRACKING, OR SENSOR MEASUREMENTS. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY WHILE RIDING.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revva and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time
  • We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
