Six months of Revva: the story so far

In March 2026, Revva went public on iOS and Android. Six months later, here is where it comes from, what we have built with you since, and where we are heading.

Two brothers, one idea

Revva is a family story before it is an app. Benoît has spent more than ten years in the motorcycle world. Matthieu has spent just as long building tech products. We took different paths but share one conviction: the best rides are the ones you share. And none of the existing options convinced us: they were either focused on tracking and GPS, or apps that felt dated.

So in early 2025 we started building the app riders were waiting for. Benoît brought the field: riders, clubs, the way people actually ride. Matthieu brought the tech. For a whole year we designed and built Revva, while Benoît and the first riders tested it on the road, ride after ride, before the first stranger ever downloaded it.

Six months on the road

The real work started the day after launch, when riders began using Revva in the rain, in the mountains, with a phone at 5% battery in a tank bag. You wrote to us, reported bugs from a lay-by, told us what was missing. We read everything, and much of what shipped since March came straight from those messages. We even met many of you in person at the motorcycle show in La Roche-sur-Foron.

And when we organised Revva rides, you showed up.

We shipped updates almost every week. A few were big features. But our priority is still reliability: a track that never gets lost, even when the network drops, stats that add up, a battery that lasts the whole day. We have come a long way, and there is more to do. That is where most of our energy goes right now.

What we built together

As a reminder, this is what Revva looked like in its early days: record a ride, find it in a feed, check your stats. Three tabs, no clubs yet.

Six months later, Revva has grown from a ride tracker into a place where riders meet. Today it has:

• Private messages, with reactions and voice messages, because typing with gloves on is not a thing.
• Group rides and events: create a ride, attach a route, share it, see who joins and how many places are left, get notified when riders sign up.
• An explorer map to find riders, clubs, rides and motorcycle events around you, with alerts when something is happening nearby.
• Livelier clubs: custom roles, posting as the club, polls, discussions, a gallery, and events open to some roles only.
• A feed where you can publish your own posts and polls, mention your friends and tag the riders you rode with.
• Richer ride pages: photos placed along the track, the weather of the day, the city and region, rides abroad, a shareable image, and view stats just for you.
• A garage for your bikes, with a maintenance history and reminders for the chain and the tyres.
• Weekly streaks and new badges to unlock as the kilometres add up.
• Privacy settings: hide the start and end of your rides, hide your top speed, choose who can tag you.
• A weekly digest of your community, and the rides happening near you this weekend.
• Kilometres or miles, Celsius or Fahrenheit, depending on where you live.
• Revva in your language: French, where it all started, then Italian, English, German, Danish, Spanish and more, twelve languages in all.

Along the way, you shared more than 125,000 kilometres, and around 250 clubs were active in a single month.

10,000 riders. Merci.

This September, Revva passed 10,000 registered riders. That is ten thousand people who trusted two brothers with an app that did not exist two years ago. A number on a slide felt too small, so we built something with you instead: a mosaic where every pixel is one of your public photos, profile pictures and ride photos, placed so that together they spell one message.
